Sharada Clinic, Erram Multispeciality Hospital, which believes in the motto of serving people as a service to God is always on the front in organizing various events for the public. On Ocassion of International Bone and Joint Day on 4th Aug 2016, the Indian Orthopedic Association decided to enter the "Guinness Book of World Records" by collectively performing 5000 surgeries free of cost.
At Sharada Clinic, a female patient was operated on her right hip joint free of cost as her financial situation did not allow her to get operated in a private multispeciality setup, which otherwise would have cost her Rs. 90,000. Dr Chinmay Erram on this occassion expressed his thoughts of providing the best of the best service to a common man without burdening him with the costs associated with such a service. He thanked Dr Vijaysinh Patil, the orthopedic surgeon who successfully performed this complicated surgery free of cost to the patient.
